Treatment process involving sub-acute care to assist clients who meet the placement criteria for this component to withdraw from the physiological and psychological effects of substance abuse. It includes a planned regimen of evaluation, observation, medical monitoring, and clinical protocols delivered through an interdisciplinary team approach provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in a highly structured, live-in environment.
These licensed services provide structured, live-in, non-hospital settings with 24-hour supervision, seven days per week. There is a nurse on duty in these facilities at all times.
Treatment is provided on a nonresidential basis and is intended for clients who meet the placement criteria for this component. This component provides structured services each day that may include ancillary psychiatric and medical services.
